What We Do
We combine software, research-validated learning design, and entrepreneurship to create better learning experiences for students, teachers, and parents.
We develop apps and solutions that create better learning, teaching, and parenting experiences — combining the best industrial software practices, the latest AI techniques, and research-validated learning design principles.
We provide real-world, project-based training to high school and college students interested in software, scientific research, entrepreneurship, or tech-industry work — giving them both skills and portfolios they can show.
We provide internships and incubation to entrepreneurs launching their own companies or social ventures. Our network of advisers helps young founders turn ideas into winning business plans, prototypes, and investment pitches.
Mission
Ardent Labs' team of entrepreneurs develops business ideas in learning science and technology. The minimum viable product (MVP) of each idea is quickly built and tested to get real feedback and market validation. Successful MVPs receive seed funding to fully develop; the most promising are spun off as independent companies by the lead entrepreneurs from the lab upon receiving venture funding.
Artificial Intelligence and 5G networks are disruptive technologies that will lead to highly interactive and personalized learning experiences for students, more effective tools for teachers, and holistic evaluation of student performance for parents. We invest in companies, incubate start-ups, and develop software that meets the needs of next-generation learning.
Technology
We use big data and AI to analyze student learning behavior. We design student profiles based on learning behavior, educational environment, and parenting habits — to determine which subjects are easiest to learn for a given student, where instructors should focus, and how parents can best encourage their child's learning journey.
Internships
We offer real-world, project-based internships to high school and college students. You'll ship code, work alongside experienced engineers and designers, and graduate with a portfolio — not just a certificate.
Learn the agile development process, master modern front-end and back-end tools, and take charge of an app from conception to production.
Learn how to build beautiful interfaces and meaningful user experiences, and jump-start your career in product management.
Learn to market software applications via online and offline channels — with an emphasis on data, experimentation, and measurable results.
